The aim of this website is to help you to improve your environmental performance as climber. Don't know where to recycle your climbing gear? Worried about fuel prices and want to know how to share lifts with other climbers? You're not the only one.
Ecoclimber aims to de-clutter your cupboard of old climbing gear and help you keep it out of the landfill. We'll also help you to fill your car with friendly climbers on your next trip away via a liftshare forum, get you in touch with your local climbing club for group trips and help you navigate public transport around climbing areas in the UK and Europe.
It makes sense, plus stuff like lift sharing saves money. Who knows, taking the bus might even save you money.
Outdoor companies will also be featured, as we find out what part they'll be playing in helping us climb greener.
